Click in the outgoing message pane at the bottom of the chat window and type something you want to say on the channel. Press ENTER, or click a button or menu item labeled Send or Talk. Your message appears in the message pane, with your nickname in front of it.
Its that simple!
The other people on the channel will also see it almost immediately.
