One of the best places to learn about newsgroups is from newsgroups. Go to the news server called "News" (you won't see the server name if you're using Free Agent). Here, you'll find helpful groups like news.answers and news.newusers.questions. Of course, nothing beats browsing the newsgroups and seeing how experienced users operate. It's a great way to see how others compose articles, reply to articles and more. You'll also get a general feel for netiquette (the etiquette of newsgroups.)
