Thirtysomething's makers took their company name from Bedford Falls, the fictional town in the classic movie, "It's a Wonderful Life." The line, "...and dance by the light of the moon," is from the 19th-century American Frontier song, "Buffalo Girls," sung in that movie.
At the end of any Bedford Falls television production, whether it's thirtysomething, My So-Called Life, or Once and Again, you'll see the above logo, which features the main characters' house from the classic Christmas movie "It's a Wonderful Life." That bit of of song plays while the logo is shown.
