Power & Light District i.e. Bar & Restaurant district in downtown KC. Young guys, there are huge crowds of girls in ridiculously tiny dresses in the loud music, beer & bouncers area. For the rest of us, a little way down the street there's live jazz, fine eating, a movie theater with fancy private seating. | ||

I discovered it in KC & can still enjoy it in Tulsa! | Elmer's - Tulsa's closest comparison to BB's in KC, but they only have recorded blues, not live bands. |

The Mayo - Penthouse Rooftop Bar - Great view, hefty drink prices, live music, atop historic Mayo Hotel | Villa Ravenna Italian - Extremely good Italian restaurant, slightly expensive but worth it | Sisserou's Caribbean Restaurant - Randomly select something from the menu, it's delicious |
Crow Creek Tavern - Unfancy setting, motorcycle parking, very good food, live music, thumbs up | Andolini's - Amazing pizza. And yeh they do that toss-the-dough-in-the-air thing | STG Pizza - An offshoot of Andolini's. They cook the pizza in like a minute in super-hot oven from Naples. Gelato for dessert |
