LC's BBQ - my personal favorite, but there are many good BBQ choices in KC BB's Lawnside BBQ - I like LC's best for taste, but BB's best for overall BBQ joint. Great food, beer and live blues bands!

Tulsa Links, Eating Out

BBQ
Burn Co. Barbeque - Definitely Tulsa's best ribs. Better than any ribs in KC, for that matter. The rest is up for debate. Oklahoma Joe's - Amazing BBQ, 2 Tulsa locations. I discovered it in KC & can still enjoy it in Tulsa! Elmer's - Tulsa's closest comparison to BB's in KC, but they only have recorded blues, not live bands.
GetSaucedTulsa.com - Rock 'n Rib Festival Stutt's House of BBQ - Tiny mom-n-pop place. BBQ is okay but the real attractions are their buttermilk pie and sweet potato pie! Albert G's BBQ - One location a bit fancy, the other more of a refurbished gas station. Both great.
Rib Crib - Lots of locations in Midwest, including Kansas City and Tulsa. Always a safe bet.   Smoke - Delicious stuff. Not just BBQ but wood-fired in general.
Everything Else
Maxwell's The Vault - Nice little restaurant & bar in a 1950s bank building. Nostalgia, art deco. Kilkenny's Irish Pub
James E. McNellie's Public House Los Cabos - several in Tulsa, one in KC area Joe Momma's - pizza by the slice, beer
El Rio Verde - Tiny place in a non-commercial neighborhood, often called the best Mexican food in Tulsa. Ludger's Bavarian Cakery
El Guapo's - my favorite Tulsa Mexican food. The answer to KC's Ponak's. Chimera's - Coffee, food, coctails. Fahncy. Zanmai - Fahncy Japanese place, great view
Señor Tequila - Mexican grill & cantina Freeway Cafe - Comfort & breakfast food. Route 66 & nostalgia-themed. Dilly Diner - Comfort & breakfast food, which seems to be Tulsa's theme. Run by hipsters, and you know hipsters can COOK!
Tally's Cafe - Comfort & breakfast food. Route 66 & nostalgia themed. Big, doing just fine. Weber's - root beer since 1933. Burgers & fries. Fun. Brownie's Hamburgers - Old diner type place, & they make great pie
Yokozuna - a bit fahncy, but very flavorful Asian food Siegi's Sausage Factory - Excellent German restaurant. And I like the "flights" of beers. Ollie's - Great breakfast food, toy trains all over the place. Tulsa's answer to KC's Fritz's.
Tallgrass Prairie Table - Downtown, everything looks pretty and tastes gooood, a bit fahncy. Napa Flats Wood-Fired Kitchen White Flag - downtown, Blue Dome area, fahncy burgers in unfancy place. Live music. Narrow entrance you could easily walk past.
The Mayo - Penthouse Rooftop Bar - Great view, hefty drink prices, live music, atop historic Mayo Hotel Villa Ravenna Italian - Extremely good Italian restaurant, slightly expensive but worth it Sisserou's Caribbean Restaurant - Randomly select something from the menu, it's delicious
Crow Creek Tavern - Unfancy setting, motorcycle parking, very good food, live music, thumbs up Andolini's - Amazing pizza. And yeh they do that toss-the-dough-in-the-air thing STG Pizza - An offshoot of Andolini's. They cook the pizza in like a minute in super-hot oven from Naples. Gelato for dessert

Some of these are still actual, physical catalogs, too, but mostly they're online shopping. The fact that I originally chose the word "Catalogs' reflects how looooong ago I created this page. I had a stack of Susie's mail-order catalogs and just keyed in the web addresses.
